Martial Arts Master Instructor!

Here’s a New Master Instructor Win!

Congratulations to Amerus Guffey!

Here’s his win…

This is Amerus Guffey, I’m here to speak on the course I took and what I got from it. First off I want to start by saying how amazing that was. Most Dojos and gyms I’ve been too ALWAYS sugar coat it. They teach [how] to move and can only explain so much, or they will teach all the moves but can’t explain anything about why or when to use the technique.

I’ve spent 18 years doing daily meditation and training in all types of arts and with energy I even have my Master Certificate for Universal Reiki healing. So I 100% agree and know for a fact about everything [about] breathing that you spoke on and the importance of it. What I found to be intriguing to me is that a lot of the things you spoke on and explained I already do without having being taught. Day in and day out I think martial arts, how to improve and learn about the human body and the mechanics…and naturally things clicked in my mind of what to do how to do it and how it would work.

The two portions of this course that I truly enjoyed was was [the section on teaching] …and it’s really cool to see someone else understand me in a way, that’s how it feels. Seeing you do and explain was not only a Honor but it also made me see that I’m not the only one who actually lives this life style. Most gyms and dojos [where I live] run only 2 days a week for 1 hour a day. And what they teach isn’t truth they just want the money.

The 2nd part I loved was ‘The 6 Tools.’ The 6 tools are not only what I do but you gave me another way to break it down and understand it, to be able to explain to my students. Even tho I know what I’m doing and what’s happening with the body I can’t put it into words like you did in this portion. And for the price!! You can’t beat it. ~ Amerus Guffey

Well done Amerus

and congratulations.

Amerus was badly overlooked in his training,

in spite of the fact of being accomplished and dedicated in his training,

it seemed that promotions were refused him.

I don’t promote much anymore,

but I do recognize Master Instructors.

It was an honor to recognize him.

And what is a master instructor?

A black belt is expected,

at the time of his testing,

to be in top notch physical shape.

And karate training is often a boot camp of physicality,

But an instructor is not judged on his physical shape,

he is judged on his knowledge.

Here’s the cruel fact.

Schools that make instructors do not have tests

that make the instructor demonstrate his knowledge.

Or if they do have tests,

they are questions on things like history or lineage

and don’t deal with the exact physics

that make the martial arts work.

They rely on time,

or politics,

to make an instructor,

let alone a Master Instructor.

The master instructor course is a precise book,

illustrated by video,

of the EXACT knowledge necessary to be a master instructor.

When I ask for people to tell me what they gained from the course

I am simply making sure they read it and understand it.

I’ve only had a couple of people,

out of thousands,

who claim they knew this knowledge before the course,

and even then they were grateful.

I have a gift as a writer,

and as Amerus said,

I can’t put it into words like you did

And,

I don’t charge for the certificate.

You buy the course and send in the win,

there are no extra charges.

I just appreciate the fact that there is one more person in the world

who actually understands what he/she is doing.

Again,

thanks Amerus,

you did well.

A New Martial Arts Master Instructor Speaks!

A New Martial Arts Master Instructor

Congrats to new Master Instructor
Everett Riggs!
Here’s just a portion of his win…

Hi,
I recently ordered your Master Instructor Course have watched it multiple times. It is really ground breaking stuff. I am a wrestling coach and have been incorporating some of the material into my program … I am also studying your Matrix Karate and Blinding Steel materials. Great material!

Everett Riggs

Again,
Congrats and well done
I absolutely love it when people use my material.
And i love it more when they use it to help others.

It is called the Master Instructor course for a very good reason.
It holds the principles of teaching.
And not just teaching one art,
but all arts.
It is based on physics,
and you can’t argue with the physics of the universe.
Well,
I suppose you can,
but you won’t win.

The funny thing is when people think
their art is the only art,
the best art,
isn’t anything better.

But ANY art can be good
if you teach it with the principles outlined
in the Master Instructor course.
Let me explain it this way.

A boxer hits the bag,
he makes the hardest punch he can.
But is it the hardest punch he could have made…
if he understood the ‘why’ behind the punch?
Nope.
Not even close.

A boxer hits the bag,
he gets the strong muscles,
he learns the correct pathway for the punch,
but he doesn’t learn WHY that pathway exists,
he doesn’t learn what is actually going down that pathway,
he doesn’t learn that a punch is NOT about muscles.
I’ll say it again,
a punch is NOT about muscles,
except in the smallest way.
It is about
(drumroll)
how much weight you can deliver.

Okay,
while you grok that,
let me say something else.
I’m an old guy now.
My muscle mass is diminished,
and
tell the truth,
I never had large muscles to begin with.
I had dense muscles,
but that is something else.
Now,
I get these big, muscly guys,
and I slap their punches aside like I am swatting a fly,
then I give them a LIGHT punch,
and they fall back,
fall down,
rub the spot I punched furiously,
and say…
OW!
Son of a…!
How did you do that?

I don’t wind up,
I don’t have big muscles,
I usually punch VERY lightly
(I don’t want to hurt them)
yet the effects are as stated.
They go OW
fall back and even down
and wonder how the heck some old guy can do that to them.
Well,
the answer is simple,
I understand that a punch is not muscle,
but weight.
And I understand not just the correct pathway for my body,
the right stance and angles
and dynamics and physics
and so on,
but the WHY behind it all.

Some young guys say I have ‘Chi power.’
But ‘Chi’ is just a grab bag
for things you don’t understand.
And what you don’t understand
is in the Master Instructor Course.

Yes,
there is chi,
but it is merely understanding
the principles of the universe
and using them in your own body
until energy starts to flow.

Simplest thing in the universe.
If you have…

It’s Against the Law to Teach the Martial Arts!

Newsletter 991

A New Law Against Teaching Martial Arts

I’ve talked about this,
on and off over the years,
and here it is actually happening:
a law to criminalize the martial arts.
Here’s a link
https://www.naturalnews.com/2019-11-27-tyranny-alert-virginia-to-outlaw-krav-maga-brazilian-jiu-jitsi-kickboxing-firearms-instruction-sb64.html
and here is one of the pertinent parts of the law
that makes a person guilty if that person…

1. Teaches or demonstrates to any other person the use, application, or making of any firearm, explosive, or incendiary device, or technique capable of causing injury or death to persons, knowing or having reason to know or intending that such training will be employed for use in, or in furtherance of, a civil disorder; or

Bolds are mine.

So,
you get the idea,
if you show a person,
train him in,
a technique of the martial arts
that results in injury or death,
you are going to be arrested,
tried,
and become a felon.
That means go to jail.

Yikes!

Now,
the chief proponent of this nonsense is Governor Ralph Northam,
the fellow who openly advocates infanticide (killing of children).
And the state is a democratic state…
though I ‘spect the republicans will go along with it.
Politicians, yuck.
They actually don’t want anybody to be able to defend themselves.
And,
be warned,
this is only the one more step in the eternal incrementalism
the government is guilty of
(small steps designed to circumvent laws

and common sense)

And,
the solution to this stupidity?
Study now.
Learn all the arts you can,
learn as much as you can,
before you are not allowed to.

I remember teaching a fellow from a communist country
telling me how the government would only allow
politicians and police to learn martial arts.
And here it is,
happening right here
in the land of the free.
Heysoos Xristos on roller skates on an oily floor.

Here’s the most valuable link…

4a Blinding Steel (Matrixing Weapons)

Teaches you how to use weapons, empty hands,
and take people all the way down.
Excellent for defending oneself
against government abuses.

Look,
guys and gals,
nobody can protect you but you.
Period.

and have a great work out!

Congratulations to New Master Instructor!

Congrats to Michael Marcello
Here is his win…

The Master Instructor Course has inspired me and given me the tools I needed to finally start teaching. I’ve been in and around martial arts all of my life and I’ve been in over a thousand skirmishes while working in corrections and as a night club bouncer. Now at 56 years old, with the help of your MI Course I finally have the confidence to start teaching. Thanks Al.

Thank you Michael!
And,
very impressed by your resume.
There are people who actually have to survive,
they have to know that their art is correct.
Which,
by the way,
is all of us.

I often think about
how a dozen years of learning
might boil down to a handful of seconds of life or death use,
and how valuable those dozen years were.

But,
hopefully,
you never have to use the art,
and can live your life,
just appreciating your good health,
how you stay young while others grow old,
how you have more patience,
how easy it is to guide people towards the better things.
And,
let’s not forget,
how darn much fun it is
to get out on the mat,
to sweat,
to play freestyle with others,
to learn nifty tricks that render an attacker silly.

Again,
thanks Michael,
and congrats.

Martial Artist runs into Master Instructor Course and Something Interesting Happens…

Newsletter 885

New Master Instructor!

Congrats to Master Instructor…
Fred Cook!

Here’s Fred’s win…

I found your website and it peaked my interest, I was skeptical though, as the claims were very dramatic and I’ve been a martial artist 29 years and a teacher for 24 of that in multiple disciplines. I figured, I’d pick up a few tips maybe to improve my toolset and all would be good….I….was…Naïve!!!

The old adage, “The more you learn, the more you understand how little you knew,” fully applies here! You see, I was first an assistant instructor, then made a full instructor after 2 years of assisting…it was like trying to learn to swim by being tossed in the deep end of the pool. What your course did was TOTALLY rock my world and adjust my ways of thinking as a teacher…this was truly mind altering stuff and so much quality data, that by the end of it, I sat there quiet…just contemplating everything…..like everything…

Not only was the course immediately jarring and enlightening, but it was simple enough that as the Geico commercials used to say “A caveman could do it.” If anything, you have dramatically understated what you’ve offered in this course. So…what did I learn from this course?

• I learned what makes an art true and why, including how to put together the four facets into a cohesive element.
• I learned more about rooting/grounding than I had in 10 years of Bak Sil Lum, but was expected to know in for lohan Chuan and Baji Chaun.
• I learned the three rules, which other than politeness, I’d never heard before, yet were so simple, as if they were hidden right under my nose the whole time!
• I learned the true meaning of the yin/yang.
• I learned how to teach, so that I didn’t overwhelm a student with data and send them packing. I especially liked the breakdown of teaching a sequence then the bunkai and having the student attempt to ascertain the application so that they feel like they own the technique…BRILLIANT!
• I learned the seven corrections to teach and attain perfect form
• I learned the 2 purposes of the legs and the purpose of a strike….this was exceptional btw!
• I learned the six tools, which I’ve already applied to a dozen of so techniques and have improved from doing so. This alone makes the course worth twice the price!

To say that I learned more from this course than 20 plus years of study, practice and teaching would be a DRASTIC understatement. You have completely changed my view of so much and have in fact made me 10 x’s the instructor that I was….Thank you sir…

If you need to ask any questions on what I’ve garnered from the course before sending me a certificate, feel free anytime sir.

Frederick W. Cook
Sho Dai Soke Renketsu-Te Karate-Do

Thank you, Fred.
Your win is fantastic.
I thank you.

Now,
I know there is a small question coming up.
I offer two courses,

The Master Instructor Course,
The Professional Matial Arts Instructor Course.
What’s the difference?

Good question.

The Master Instructor Course gives the overview,
gives the data,
then the student has to apply it.
It is designed for the fellow
with lots of experience,
or who has at least gone through previous matrixing courses
at Monster Martial Arts.
It is more suited for the dojo.

The Professional Martial Arts Instructor
uses the data of the Master Instructor Course,
but it goes through the moves of the martial arts,
basics, forms, techniques,
everything,
one right after another,
showing fixes for common problems.
It is more suited for teaching in gyms, health clubs, and so on.
It is designed to help people get started teaching MA outside the dojo.

Neither is best,
you just have to figure out which is best for you.
What do you want to do in life?
Are you going to stay in the dojo?
Are you going to head to YMCAs,
fitness centers,
and so on.

Here’s an example of the differences between the courses.

A fellow who takes the Master Instructor course
is given the seven principles of perfect form.
It is up to him to inspect the student,
and see which of the seven principles is out.
This can be tough,
especially if more than one principle is out
stylist interpretations must be made,
and so on.

On the other hand,
a fellow who takes the Professional MA Instructor course
will inspect someone’s form,
he will see,
for instance,
that the student is getting insufficient impact from his front snap kick.
He picks out the correct drill
to help the student fix his form.

You see?
The MI course assumes the instructor is experienced.
The PMAI course doesn’t assume,
and goes through the moves and techniques of the martial arts,
giving hints and fixes galore.

Two different approaches.

I will say that I wrote the PMAI course
to help people break into martial arts teaching.
It can be hard to put the money together for a school,
to survive until the student base is large enough,
sometimes people don’t make it.

On the other hand,
it is easy to get started as a private instructor,
if you get the gym owner to believe in you.
A certificate as a Professional Martial Arts Trainer will help.

I used to charge $100 an hour.
This was back in the eighties.
Helped me get started when I moved to Los Angeles.
People would hand me a check for $500 for five lessons,
it really made my day.

So what you do is up to you,
I’m just trying to give everybody enough options
to make the martial arts a viable career.

You can earn a black belt through the Matrix Karate course,
or other courses.
This is excellent for people with some training,
who want to go all the way,
but just need the data.

Then there is the KangDukWon.com course,
for those who want to go through the traditional training.

Options.
That’s all.

That all said,
Fred picked the option that is excellent for him.
He already has much experience.
You can check out his website here…

https://cookryuhombudojo.wordpress.com/about/

(I hope its okay I put this link up, I didn’t ask permission, sorry, Fred.)

So,
again,
thank you,
Master Instructor Fred Cook.

First Professional Martial Arts Instructor!

Congrats to Professional Martial Arts Instructor…
Lonnie Muhammad!

Lonnie managed to ace the test with a 94.7% score.
Man,
well done!

Lonnie is an old matrixing student,
He was one of the first fellows to get on board,
when MonsterMartialArts.com got started some ten years ago.
I remember him well because
he was teaching self defense to security personnel.
He was using Matrix Aikido and Monkey Boxing techniques
way back then.

Here is his win from way back then…

Mr. Case;
I wanted to let you know that the courses did arrive just before Xmas.  Needless to say, I haven’t been able to spend enough time yet with them.  You know something:  just 5 minutes into the Aikido dvd (which I threw in right away to make sure the dvds were working), I felt as if I had been hit with 2 YEARS of training in the aiki/jujutsu arts.
I conducted a Matrix Aikido training class for a Security Team at a local manufacturing plant. I tailored the training according to their Use Of Force policy. As you know they need control and takedown skills. I knew Matrix Aikido would be the answer. The training plan you shared was boss. The class went so smoothly. The participants learned very quickly. By the end of the class you could see techniques of Monkey Boxing coming through. They were also able to create their own techniques. There was one female officer in the class who asked to become my private student. She was throwing, locking and taking down guys twice her size. The Security Supervisor wants me to come back and with more participants! I’ll keep you posted.
Lonnie

Again,
incredibly well done, Lonnie.
Thank you.

Now,
for all you guys and gals reading this,
and thinking about teaching martial arts,
being a Professional Martial Arts Instructor
will give you a considerable edge
when teaching martial arts.
You can walk into any company,
any health club,
anywhere,
and you have the certificates to back up your knowledge.
Your knowledge has been proven by actual test.

And,
if you have ordered
The Professional Martial Arts Instructor book
you can take the test for free.
it’s part of the deal when you buy the book.
You just have to email me at aganzul@gmail.com
and ask to take the test.

To let you know,
I am still putting the test into digital format,
so I still have to email you the test,
you take it and email it back,
and I then grade it.

If you don’t pass,
you’ll have your mistakes,
you can study and take the test again.
No problem.

This isn’t me scamming for money
by charging huge amounts of money
to take and retake tests
and all that.
This is me validating people who are serious about the martial arts,
in a way that will benefit them
career wise,
financially,
or just in the area of achieved knowledge.
People who know what the martial arts are all about
who know the real reasons behind the martial arts,
are MUCH better martial artists.
They shine.
So,
write me if you have read the book and are ready.

OR…
get the book and get the real knowledge,
and get ready to take the PMAT test.

AND…
if you have any doubts,
you can go here and take a sample of the test…

http://www.martialartsinstructortraining.com/certification-quiz/

I’l tell you right now,
you probably won’t score too well,
most people don’t,
but that’s the point of it all,
to find out what you don’t know,
and get you to know it.

I tell you this…
knowledge is the most precious commodity in the universe.
And,
the martial arts have been taught
monkey see monkey do
for so long,
that the knowledge is confuzzled,
bemused and idiocratic.

So hit that link,
find out if you know anything,
and get started on the path of VERIFIED knowledge.

No more fakers who talk a good game,
a fellow with a PMAT certificate is PROVEN!
He is one smart cookie,
and that’s the truth.
Lonnie will attest to that!

Have a great work out!

Congrats to Master Instructor Luis Lista!
Here’s his win…

Hi Al,

Thank you for this amazing course!

I had to watch the DVD 3 or 4 times, and I realize there are still a
lot of things that I understand intellectually but have to practice
further to make them natural.

But your statement was true. One cannot watch this DVD and read the course book seriously without having some huge realizations about the Art, and the way to practice it.

I’ve been able to correct my own stances and sharpen my “good
reflexes” in a dramatic way! I still have a lot to learn and
practice, but wow what a change, a true “mind-shifting process”!

And frankly that is not the best of it. I share the practice of your
Matrix Karate System with some people of my neighborhood, and I noticed that I can now see way better their eventual mistakes AND I’m able to propose simple and direct solutions AND show them why and how they work. That is fantastic!

At my small scale this as been the most beneficial course for helping people learning the Art… and for helping me structure the way I share the practice.

I even could make some valuable suggestion to a friend who is a master in a traditional Japanese Koryu… even I was surprised! Suggestions came by themselves because I was just seeing things you showed and explained in your course.

And I now this is a course that will follow me trough time, I’ll have
the opportunity to return to it and evaluate and learn regularly from it… what a joy!

Al, I must sincerely thank you for your wonderful work of
dissemination of Martial Arts!

Luis L.

Thank you, Luis!
and thank you for sharing with others.

Sometimes I don’t think people truly appreciate teachers,
but teaching others is how mankind actually progresses.
No teachers = no evolution.

You know,
I’ve said it before,
but perhaps it is time to say it again…
how,
exactly,
I came up with this course.

I studied,
and I wrote things down,
and I made connections,
and I thought everybody was doing the same things as I.
I didn’t think I was doing anything unique,
I thought everybody did the martial arts the way I was doing them,
I thought everybody had the same realizations,
understood about how the physics worked,
and so on.

I think the first person who abused me of this was Mike Baron.
He was my partner in one of my schools,
and actually pushed Monster into happening.
He said,
‘You know, Al, nobody else is doing the things you’re doing.’
As I recall,
I just grinned.
I thought he was just unaware of everybody else.
Then we released a couple of courses,
among them was the Master Instructor course,
and the wins started coming in.
It blew me away.
Far away.
People with lots of experience,
were telling me how
they finally understood the martial arts,
how everything had been obscured and mixed up and jumbled,
and they were finally able to see how the martial arts worked.

I was surprised,
to say the least,
and it changed the way I was doing things.

And,
it is changing the way other people are doing things.

So,
thanks Luis,
and thanks to all for being part of the martial arts.
And,
that said,
let me explain something about the martial arts.

The Martial Arts are the only field
that deal with the actual force and flow of the universe.
School and religion certainly don’t,
they just talk about dry facts,
or esoteric theories,
but don’t relate to the fact that everything in the universe
is an object that has trajectory.
And,
Martial Arts are the ONLY field on this planet that actually deals
with the force and flow of objects,
and thus with the whole universe.

This leads directly to awareness.
People who don’t study the martial arts are car crash victims.
Life happens to them,
and they don’t understand why.
Martial Artists see the way objects fly,
from the fist to the car to the whole darned planet,
and they are trained to handle the flow of objects,
and the potential collisions.

And,
even more importantly,
the martial arts provide a discipline
which leads down the path
to greater awareness.
This happens no where else.

Go to school and your intelligence actually goes down.
This is true by actual, tested statistic.
People in school study facts
until the flow of objects in this universe is obscured.

But people who do the martial arts
have quicker and cleaner intellects.
They have good health,
they handle problems as they come,
stay away from drugs,
help people learn how to be aware.

Do you understand how valuable you are?

Well,
forgive me for ranting,
but it is true,
and you really should know how special you are.

So thanks to all,
and thanks to Luis,
and here’s the URL for the Master instructor Course…
http://monstermartialarts.com/martial-arts/4-master-instructor-course/

And everybody have a great work out!
Al
