Bagua Zhang Technique is Simple to Use!

Bagua Zhang Technique is Too Simple!

Bagua Zhang Technique is an easy thing to learn and simple to apply. The problem is that they might actually be to simple.

Too simple to learn because most people don’t have the discipline of mind, the mental ability, to make Bagua Zhang Martial Arts work. They get lost in the endless possibilities of intricacy, and lose sight of the simplicity.

bagua zhang techniques

Come on! All of you! At once! I know the best martial art!

When you walk the circle you must do so with an eye to developing Martial Arts Bagua Zhang Technique. These martial arts gems rely on one simple principle: the opponent must extend his arm, and the person doing the circle walking self defense must use the extended limb like a captain’s wheel. That is, he must turn the spoke, that the hub of the body would revolve.

If the punch is fast and hard, this is difficult to do, and what punch is not going to be fast?

The solution is to practice until you see the energy forming, until you see the punch generating, and then be willing and able to use whatever part of the arm you get.

For instance, the attacker launches a strike, and it is a short, circular type of jab. To make a bagua zhang technique work the student must go with the punch, let it pass, and push on the elbow, or even the shoulder.

This means you have to not only walk sideways, but you have to fine tune your distance, so that the opponent misses, passes, and is the right range for your push.

When you push you must not do so faster than the strike, nor slower. The best bagua zhang techniques are going to be the ones in which you harmonize with the motion, and therefore with the attacker.

Think: if he feels you touch him, he will resist, so if you use too much force he will change. But you don’t want him to change…you just want him to be slightly out of kilter, unable to follow up, at a slight disadvantage.

Now, what do you want to do? Continue your circle walking and tie him in knots? Spin him to the earth, circle the arm and reverse direction into a lock or takedown? These are all potential bagua fighting techniques, but the one you choose will depend on one thing: what is the most simple.

What is simple, that is what is difficult. You see, most people train to do something, but when you reach the point where you do nothing, then you can let the attacker guide you to his self destruction.

There is a phrase in The Tao: ‘Do nothing until nothing is left undone.’

Do you understand how this works with a bagua zhang techniques?

The point is that you must practice not the technique, but the concept behind the technique, then your kung fu will work, and then you will have the effortless Bagua Zhang technique that is easy and simple to do.

There is a great piece of writing on how to learn kung fu fast at Monster Martial Arts. Or you could just go to the ultimate bible on Bagua Zhang techniques.

Karate Throwing Techniques to Make You Grin!

Finding and Define Karate Throwing Techniques!

When this writer first learned Karate, there weren’t any Karate throwing techniques. There was just kick and punch, and so much of it that there wasn’t much interest in how to throw somebody.

Heck, if you wanted to throw, you took Judo, right?

karate throwing techniques

He could punch…and he could throw!

But, as time played out, and arts were learned, the subject of Karate throwing techniques kept popping up again and again.

Interestingly, there were throws in Karate before that art became a mass produced method of making money for US teachers.

I’m not trying to diss anybody here, but the US teachers were all saying ‘My art is the only Martial Art!’ And they were concerned with pushing their tournament fighting, which had no room for throws.

But Gichin Funakoshi was once taking lessons with Jigaro Kano, and suddenly Gichin did a throw that Kano didn’t really know. And when Kano was surprised, Funakoshi passed it off with, ‘Oh, there are a few karate throwing techniques.’

A few throws, indeed! Karate is LOADED with takedowns and locks and all manner of manipulative grappling techniques!

Finding Karate Throwing Techniques in Kata

My favorite example of a karate throwing technique is the move at the end of Pinan Three. You poke over the shoulder and elbow, and slide to the side. Absolutely perfect grab art, if, instead of poking the eyes, you grab an encircling arm and throw on the slide.

Anyway, we could get into a lo-o-ong discussion about the placement of throws in almost every single move of every single kata, but I will leave that up to the reader to explore on his own, and merely say: ‘the throws are there, you just have to learn how to look.’

I will say that the throws in Karate tend to be all over the place. Karate wasn’t organized logically, and the things are placed in haphazard arrangement. That may make your job of finding them harder, but it will also make it more interesting.

I will also say that, in the end, while this writer loves throws and locks, there is greater efficiency in one punching an opponent. I know that some people may disagree with this, but I recommend practicing the punch until it works, and exploring the throws and locks so that you don’t get trapped or fooled by them, and so that you may have options. An option, for instance, in the event that it’s only your drunk cousin…don’t punch him! Just do one of your Karate Throws, over the shoulder and into the trash can…he he!

Here’s a great article about Karate Throwing Technique. You can also check out Matrix Kung Fu at Monster Martial Arts, which is the bible of Karate Throwing Techniques.

Superman Martial Arts for Everybody!

Superman Martial Arts

I went to see superman today,
definitely a martial arts movie.
Supie has daddy probs,
and the bad guy has mommie probs,
(not really, but it sounds funny to say)
and it is a slugfest fantastic!
And I had this thought
about halfway through the movie.

superman movie

There’s a little superman in ALL of us!

A martial artist is a superman.
Sure we are.
We’re stronger,
longer lasting.
We rarely get sick,
we even tend to avoid accidents!
Wouldn’t you say that is a cut above Joe Ordinary?

So what makes us that way,
and what is our kryptonite?

What makes us superman is simple.
On the physical level it is the simple work out.
When you do a the first form of Karate,
for instance,
you are doing twenty lunges.
By the time you have done five forms
you have done lunges,
kneels,
squats,
all manner of sheer physical exercise.
So when you are doing Martial Arts,
you are doing body calisthenics
the way a madman might do them.
Or…
a superman.

On the second level we have energy.
Every time you do your forms
you are doing cycles of deep breathing.
This oxygenates the body,
feeds the tan tien
(the energy generator)
and cause incredible amounts of sheer energy
to swarm through the body.
So when you are doing martial arts
you are feeding the energy system,
and making something
a lot longer lasting and more powerful
than even the muscles you have built up.

On the third level we have thought.
Thought is the most powerful thing in the universe,
and Joe Ordinary doesn’t even know it exists!
Joe Ordinary thinks thought is doing a book report,
or something like that!
But we know the truth.
We know the truth because we built up all that energy,
and all that energy had to be controlled,
and the only way to control energy is with thought.
And all that energy we build up in the body,
as we learn to control it,
we learn to control the energy of the universe.

And thus,
through three levels,
we become stronger,
longer lasting,
have more energy,
know how to control that energy.

Can you understand why I refer to us as…
supermen!

Now,
what is our kryptonite?
That is an interesting question.
What can harm us?
The only thing in the universe,
the whole entire universe,
that can harm a superman is…
himself!

He can abuse his powers,
fragment his self,
lose sight of that incredible energy that is him.

The exact procedure
for making yourself less than a superman,
and,
indeed,
less than a man,
is to forsake virtue.

Virtue is part of the soul,
it is the desire to do good.
When we don’t teach,
share the lessons,
spread our charm,
then the energy dies,
we fragment,
and lose sight of our superhuman selves.

Virtue.
Help a child.
Pet a dog.
Laugh at a barbecue.
Wrestle with your younger brother…and let him win.
Tell a girl she is beautiful.
Hold a job,
learn,
share.

That’s all it takes to protect our superhuman powers.
And how super can we get?
Well,
that depends on your work out.
The more work out you do,
the more forms you do…
(every form is a prayer)
…the stronger you get.
The more times you do a technique,
the more integrated you become as a human being.
The more times you kick and punch,
the more you fill yourself with superhuman powers.

And,
of course,
there are going to be those that disagree.
Who say that I’m wrong,
and give other reasons.
but they are mere earthlings.
If we are patient enough,
we can raise them up.
And patience is a virtue.
And maybe they will come,
someday,
to the truth that we know.

You are a superman.

So,
go enjoy the movie.
Have a ball.
Eat popcorn and cheer for the good guys,
and feel sorry for the bad guys.
They just haven’t worked out enough,
lost sight of themselves,
don’t know their own power.

Enjoy the movie.
And,
BTW,
the new site is called…

Free Bruce Lee.

Google it,
it’s about a super guy,
and it’s got some super stuff on it,
and it is built for super people to enjoy.

Have a great work out!

Pa Kua Chang Give Entry to New Universe!

Pa Kua Chang Creates a New Universe!

Pa Kua Chang founder Dong Hai Chuan was most likely a Shaolin Gung Fu stylist. Like many martial artists of his TIME, he wandered the land, looking for employment, and looking for opportunities to improve his Chinese martial art.

He would look for OPPORTUNITIES to use his Gung Fu as a bodyguard, fighting off bandits with spear and sword and hand.

Pa Kua Chang

Pa Kua Chang was created by Dong Hai Chuan

One must wonder then, how he became involved with a band of religious fanatics.

It is doubtful whether the monks of this unnamed sect could beat him in  hand to hand combat, but they had to have something, or he wouldn’t have stopped his sojourning for eleven years and studied with them.

For the first nine years, it is said, Dong Hai Chuan walked in circles, possibly chanting religious mantras. He walked and he walked, and one can imagine the unspooling in his mental apparatus. It is invariable that his martial arts would start to manifest along the lines of this new practice he was doing.

Around and around, making gung fu motions with his limbs, bending his legs into gung fu stances, and thinking about how walking the circle could enable him to move better through hordes of bandits.

After nine years of doing these gung fu motions, which would become the basis for his Pa Kua Chang style martial art, he told the monks that he felt that the trees were bending after him, actually chasing him.

Trees Chasing a man? How could that be?

Have you ever caught the eye of somebody sitting on a bus? They are in journey, in a different universe, and for a moment the souls see each other. Across separate universes they touch.

Or, have you ever played in a soccer contest, run next to somebody, and been immersed in your own separate communication with that fellow, created a world that is not the same, that seems stable while the ‘real’ universe of the cheering crowd passes by?

This is the universe that Dong Hai Chuan made. This is the universe he found, a universe so mighty that stout trees bent to the wind of his passing.

The point here, however, is not about Dong Hai Chuan, it is about you. Can you use Pa Kua Chang (also called bagua zhang), and walk in a circle so that the universe bends to your will?

Can you go around in circles and learn the amazing hand motions of Pa Kua Chang until a mob of attackers is confused by your simple walking the circle self defense?

An interesting question, this Pa Kua Chang thing, for it opens the door to a new world, and a new you.

Here’s another great piece of writing about a Pa Kua Chang universe. Monster Martial Arts has a fantastic Pa Kua online martial arts course you can do.

Qigong Power that Drips from Your Fingertips!

Qigong Power Has You!

Qigong Power is a quite real thing. The problem is that it is undefined. I mean…REALLY undefined.

There’s a lot of mysticism out there, so let’s define it perfectly right here.

chi power

Your body is a motor

Qigong Power is when you shovel food into the body. It starts the chemical transformation into mechanical energy. You don’t see it, except that your body is warm. It is giving off heat. That is the lowest, grossest form of chi power.

Qigong Power, on the second level, is when you become aware of the energy in your body. This includes things like reaiki healing, and other forms of spiritual healing, acupuncture, meditation healing, chakras, and so on. A lot of people experience this, but because they are experiencing this from different arenas, they describe it differently, and so people get confused. These are definitions specialized according to the various fields they are in.

The third level of Qigong Power, and the most important, is when you manifest it outside your body. This includes such things as personal charm and charisma, moving objects, telepathy, and so on.

This third level of Qigong Power is the big bugaboo, as it is so wildly differing in causes and effects hardly anybody can nail it down. But, it can be nailed down.

The ultimate definition for Qigong Power is that it is intention. This can be seen on each of the levels of existence that we are discussing here.

You decide to have a better body, so you start eating proper, non-GMO foods, and you get healthier.

You decide to become a more aware human being, so you take classes in yoga, healing, martial arts…ah, Martial Arts. Be it Karate or Kung Fu, Shaolin or Tai Chi Chuan, this is the best field for becoming aware of the chi power energy flow inside your body. This is because it deals not just with the imagination necessary to become aware of and manipulate chi power energy, but because it has the added reality of dealing with the actions of the universe. Mind you, this is only if you find a martial arts instructor who truly understands this.

You decide to be a magnanimous personality, and you back it up with charitable acts, and the next thing you know, you have charisma. And, you decide to give energy to others, to think and have that thought picked up by another, to move something without touching it.

It is all in the decision…and the intention to make that decision work, that we come to the final and ultimate proof, a proof which IS the definition, of Qigong Power.

Quick Martial Arts Fix for Everybody!

Happy weekend!
Have a GREAT work out!
And,
I hope you have some small goal set for this summer.
That’s how you get the big ones,
you know.
You just set aside small goals,
do them one at a time,
and before you know it,
you’ve made it.
Like small colored belts up to the black belt.
One step at a time.
After a while  you become a different person.
A person who keeps going,
keeps taking steps
while others fall off to the wayside.

quick fix martial arts

I shoulda taken that karate class when I was a kid!

Now,
I came across a great ad today.
It was in my email box,
attached as an add on to a prepper newsletter I get.
Normally I trust these guys,
but when I saw the ad
I had to recalibrate.
Cancel city, here I come.
The ad,
you see,
was for the martial arts.

Oh,nothign wrong with martial arts ads,
they open doors,
but this ad was a repackaging of an old program.
Same thing advertised years ago.
same techniques,
same grainy tape.
But it’s the advertising tactics that got me.
For instance…

“Live without fear the rest of your life!”
I didn’t know I was in fear.
I suppose in high school I was in fear.
But soon as I left that snakepit…
no…
I’m not living in fear.

Another catch line they had was

‘Watch (this video) once,
practice it if you want,
use it tomorrow.’

So,
no study,
no practice,
and it will be usable.
Huh!

I say do my courses,
practice the crap out of them.
and they become workable.
But practice!
And,
may I point out
that practice is fun,
and not something you should sneer at,
as this ad does.

And,
my favorite,
there are special forces and SEALs and
all manner of terrorist killers
who praise this tape as the way they are alive today.

15 techniques,
that’s all,
and the baby will be safe and genetically sound.

I could go on for a few hours on this type of stuff,
but it is really counter productive.
So let me just say this…

Would you rather buy a quick fix,
that always includes
a kick to the pomegranates,
a poke to the eyes,
and a poke to the eyes
that will raise his hands
so you can kick him in the pomegranates?
Or would you rather buy a complete art?

They say 15 techniques
and you will be safe from all the convicts
drug dealing
rapists
murderer scum in the world.
I say you should forget the fairy tales,
and get to work.

Fancy talking vs your own hard work.

Now,
let me explain something,
what I do is an education.
What they do is make money.
Nothing wrong with making money,
making money is good,
as long as you are offering a solid product in exchange for it.

Let me explain something,
the structure of these ads goes like this.

Make the sucker like you,
as soon as he likes you scare him with a problem,
then offer him the solution to the problem for a slight fee.

That’s how it works.

Let me rewrite that for you…
Share your desires for a good home and a job you love until he knows he is just like you,
then tell him a burglar is going to break in and rape your girl and your dog,
and then sell him a burglar alarm system.

It doesn’t matter if the system is a bunch of empty cans you tie to a doorknob,
what matter is that you got his money.

Do you understand?

Now,
examine the structure of what I do.
You don’t have to like me.
There is a problem in the martial arts of education,
I offer that education.

Let me rewrite that for you.
I know that people are different,
I know that there are going to be people who don’t understand or like what I’m going to do,
that’s just the way the world works,
and I hope you understand that.

The martial arts have been mixed up,
crossbred,
dumbed down,
made into a Three Stooges fire drill,
and I have the method to fix that.

But,
you need to get some simple tools
and use them till they come out your ears.

Sure,
it’s a quick fix,
but only if you’re work intensive.
Yes,
you can earn a belt fast,
but if you think it’s going to be a gift,
you should go find one of those internet scammers.

Look,
I sell (for instance)
the Matrix Karate course.
The forms are arranged
so the techniques are in order,
and presented in two man format
so you get used to standing and facing and fighting.

But you are going to have to stand and face and fight,
or you are going to get nothing out of it!

And I present a handful of techniques,
but then I show you how to matrix them,
so they multiply like logical rabbits.
Within a few minutes that handful of techniques becomes
squared, then squared again,
and suddenly you have thousands of techniques,
but they are not illogical!
They make sense,
they fight together,
and they even fit together with other arts!

Do you have to do thousands of techniques?
No,
but you have to do the handful of techniques,
and understand the logic
and you have to do them until they come out your ears.

Anybody who thinks I don’t love the martial arts,
and that I have not sweated for ever 45 years,
is a fool.

This is not a quick fix,
this is an education.
And it is a VERY sad truth,
that nobody has this education.
It really is.

Let me tell you a secret.
I bruised for the first seven years.
Then I started figuring it out,
and I stopped bruising.
Yep.
My body actually doesn’t bruise.
Not hardly at all.
Rarely.
And,
here’s the funny thing,
if I don’t think about the technique,
if I let it out
even just a little,
the people I block get BIG bruises.

Now,
how can you get somebody to get that ability,
except through hard work and sweat and even a little blood?

But,
it’s all a matter of awareness,
of focusing awareness through doing the blocks enough,
until you become sufficiently aware of the body,
and then it just doesn’t bruise anymore.
Or,
other things can happen,
but bruises don’t.
Now,
the ONLY way to teach that,
is through hard work.

BUT,
if you make the hard work logical,
then you cut the time down
by half,
by four times.
Heck,
in some cases
you can cut training time down by ten.

But,
work,
focus awareness,
but logically,
that is my secret.

So,
if you think you can read once,
not practice,
and be a Navy SEAL tomorrow,
go for it.

But,
if you want to learn a complete martial art,
all the bells and whistles,
all the guts and trim,
all the joy and hard work…
then you have to be willing to get a course,
set up a few striking targets,
get a few friends over to the garage a few nights a week,
work out like a dog,
bruise and sweat,
AND HAVE SOME MOFO FUN!

There isn’t any other way.

Oinkey donkey,
I hope I’m preaching to the choir,
because I would hate to have my words wasted on Beavis and Butthead.

Now,
go through my arts,
pick the one you don’t know,
pick the one that will enhance your training.

If you know grappling and knees and elbows,
pick up Matrix Karate,
it will be fists and feet.

If you know Karate and pa kua,
if you know fists and feet and how to get arond somebody,
then pick up Shaolin Butterfly,
figure out how to angle in on the distance and close with somebody.
Then check out the Matrix Kung Fu so you can take ‘em down.

Look,
go to this page

http://monstermartialarts.com/martial-arts-articles/martial-arts-styles-are-all-the-same/

It shows you how to break the martial arts down,
and not in a cookie cutter approach,
but for yourself.
Do the table I show,
analyze your abilities at
hand, foot, knee, elbow, throw,
and then figure out what you need to make your art whole.
Heck,
write me an email if you find something confusing,
or if you aren’t sure which course will fix which distance.
But here’s a break down for you…

fists = matrix karate
feet = Power Kicks (a free bonus on the MAtrix Karate course)
knees and elbows = blinding steel.
(Yes, there is a short but sure matrix of knee and elbow training drills on that course)
stand up takedowns and throws = Matrix Kung Fu.

Just go through your art,
be honest about what you are lacking,
then fill in the pieces.

Could anything be easier?
Could anything be more logical?
I mean,
here are the keys to the kingdom!

Dopuble Oinkey Donkey.
I’m out of here.
Don’t mean to be abrupt,
but I have to see a man about a work out.
I’m the man,
and it’s my work out.
And you guys and gals…
enjoy the heck out of your own work out,
remember,
every form is a prayer.
So pray a lot,
and should that fight ever happen,
you will have a heaven of a chance.

Martial Arts Science Called Matrixing Changes Everything!

Martial Arts Science Puts Logic into Art

Martial Arts Science is not based on the movie called The Matrix, but on a form of computer logic. It is based on Boolean Algebra, which puts three dimensional programs on to two dimensional screens (computers, TV, etc.)

That it works is proven by the hundreds of pages of martial arts testimonials I have received. These were not solicited by me, but just poured in. They came from people with no experience to many decades of experience. They came from people who studied karate, learned kung fu, practiced Aikido, and just about every other martial art under the sun. It is not unusual for me to receive a testimonial from some fellow with 35 years experience, a teach, who has practiced Hapkido, Silat, Tai Chi, and so on and so on and so on. These wins are all the result of putting Matrixing, the first and only Martial Arts Science on the planet, into their martial arts.

martial arts science

There is a simple science here…

Here are a few of the Martial Arts science wins I have received over the years:

There I was, doing a form, I was glowing and I had a certainty: I knew I was a Master. I knew I could be victorious in a fight but that I would never have to fight–my glow would melt any attempt to create a conflict. ~ Herb S

Herb was one of the first students to learn my martial arts science. This was way back in the eighties.

…my perception and awareness of my own body from the feet, legs, arms, etc., have gone up tremendously. The attention to detail seems never ending when studying and teaching. The ability to catch each detail, at the right time, is an important item to grasp if you want your student to really get what you’re teaching them.
Wiley G

Wiley took one of the first Master Instructor Courses I ever prepared. The following win is a little longer, but it shows what YOU can do if you have the data of the only real Martial Arts Science.

First off, I would have to give you a little back history so you can fully appreciate where it is that I’m coming from.  When I was about five, I started off learning Nagano Ryu from my father, who learned it from his uncle, who in turn learned it from his father, and so on.  There wasn’t much too it – it was basically a garbled version of the 40 Monkeys, with some Judo basics, and no forms.  [It turns out that this system is actually an ancient form of Ninjutsu that is no longer in existence today!]  The main thing that I took away from this early training however was something that my father kept telling me, which was: “Practice one thing a thousand times and you will finally understand it.  Practice it ten thousand times and you will be a master.”  After about a hundred times of being thrown to the ground I got the picture.  But, I also got the “bug.”  I fell in love with the art, and have ever since been in the process of trying to become that master.

I spent my teen years learning Karate from an old Okinawan dude, and a sensei that wouldn’t give me my black belt until I could beat up every brown belt in the school.  I learned countless forms, but barely any basics.  After getting my black belt, I started fighting in semi-professional kick boxing matches. However, I eventually got beaten by a little Thai kid, and realized that all my years of karate training had little actual use in a real fight. So, I moved on to Muay Thai, and then Brazilian Jujutsu, and soon found myself gladiating in an octagon. Needless to say, those were the dark years of my art.  (Though, I did learn some valuable up-close and personal lessons about what a real punch looks like and what it feels like to get your ass kicked!)

It took a real butt-kickin’ before I came to terms with the fact that I wasn’t going to become a true master through combat alone.  So, I fell back on my previous training and started doing forms again.  I decided that I would approach them from the viewpoint of how to make them actually work.  After a while, I started to realize that the Old Masters just might have had something.  A while longer and I re-kindled my purpose to resolve the martial arts puzzle and become that master that I always wanted to be.  That’s right about when I met a guy at a party (Harry) who told me about this guy “Al” who supposedly already did just that.  I was intrigued.  I ordered some manuals and started pouring over them.  I was so incredibly appreciative that somebody had already spent so much time researching and laying the path to a goal that I thought was going to take me a lifetime (maybe several.)  My art expanded and I reached a whole new level.

Then I did the Master Instructor Course and it hit me.  The Basics that are so concisely communicated in this course including the Matrix principle IS the solution.  It doesn’t matter what “style” I call my art, because all styles follow these same principles.  It doesn’t matter how hard I train or how many repetitions I do if I don’t train the right way.  And I would never become a master if I didn’t know how it all fits together.  Now I do!  I can honestly say that I am now on the path that I have always sought as a martial artist.  Thank you Al!

These wins are just the tip of the iceberg, and a good thing to do would be to go to the Testimonials page at Monster Martial Arts and do a search on your particular art. It might just pop up, and it might give you some ideas of what I’m doing and how this Matrixing thing, this Martial Arts Science, works.

How and Why Matrixing Will Work in Your Martial Art!

Learn a Martial Art in a matter of months!

A lot of people read my site, or articles on the web, and they raise their eyes and say, ‘Oh, right. A guy can learn a Martial Art in a few months? Ha!’

Lot of cynicism out there, and I understand it. Some fellow studies for years to learn Karate or learn Kung Fu or whatever, and I come along and say, ‘You could have learned it ten times faster.’

martial art

Don’t just look at the moon…BE the moon!

That guy is going to be upset! He’s going to think I’m full of it, just because if he doesn’t, then it invalidates all his years of training.

But, when somebody actually does matrix their martial art, and this works for Aikido and Kenpo and ALL other martial arts systems, then they find that I am not invalidating all they have done…I am making it count! I am organizing their data, making it more accessible, and that means their martial art is sharper, quicker, more intuitive…and so much more!

So how do I convince the doubter?

Try these facts on for size.

Take two pigeons and put them together for 6 weeks and they will mate for life.

6 weeks, and you cam MAKE a pea brain MAKE a life altering decision. Doesn’t even matter if Mrs. Pigeon is ugly.

Now this is a stupid fact, but it tends to open the door to facts more pertinent to you and the Martial Arts.

The US army takes a common, garden variety man or woman…and MAKES them into a soldier in three months. Another three months and we’re talking about a high tech soldier, able to use a computer, or some other complicated device, right in the middle of a firefight!

That’s a good fact. It speaks highly of dedicated, factual training.

Here’s another one: there are ads on TV that claim you can MAKE your body into a lean, mean muscle machine in three months. Three months and you no longer have a beer barrel, but, instead, have a six pack!

So the point here is this: if you are smarter than a pigeon, then you can change your mind and change your body in three months.

Or, in other words,

You can learn a martial art in a matter of months!

You don’t even have to believe! You just have to get a martial arts course and do it!

So now we come down to choice.

Do you want to sit around and tweet one liners…or do you want to join a brotherhood that has lasted for thousands of years…the brotherhood of the Martial Artist!

Do you want to be sweet meat for that home invader? That mugger? That guy who wants to take your girlfriend?

Do you want to watch Bruce Lee movies and think, ‘How cool!’ Or do you want to BE like Bruce Lee?

Okay. Nuff said. I hope I’ve changed your mind, gotten you to get up off the coach, inspired you to do something that will give your life value forever!

So take a look at this http://monstermartialarts.com site, check out the courses, and decide what you want to do.

Remember, the only person stopping you from being more than you…is you.

This has been a page about how to learn a martial art, and how you can learn them in a matter of a few months.

Teaching Martial Artists and the Inertia of Ignorance

The only thing that stops you from learning is…you

I should say the odd thing about teaching people, not just teaching martial artists. But the fact is…people refuse to accept information.

Let’s say you’re teaching Karate to some fellow. You can say something like ‘twisting the wrist on impact is dangerous. The joint is unstable and you are adding weight to it.’

teaching martial arts

Can you overcome ‘Inertia of ignorance’ and actually learn Martial Arts?

Now, this is a big thing, so many systems use the twisting wrist to teach newbies. But, they don’t teach the newbies why, or how to transition the technique to a more stable punch.

You see, the wrist is unstable, but it teaches people how to focus. Once they learn how to focus their strikes, they need to learn how to snap a vertical punch, or some other variation. But when you tell them that, they go into protest mode.

They shake their head, and continue doing what they are doing, and it is as if you never spoke.

It’s not the martial arts, it’s deeper, it goes to the person’s ability to listen, to actually process information.

That is, incidentally, why the martial arts are so important. Somebody disagrees, and you can show them on the mat. You can make them listen.

But, that doesn’t cure the person of not listening. Even somebody who has studied the martial arts for years has this problem. Here is the EXACT thing they think when you tell them something.

‘Oh, we have that in our system.’

They don’t say it, they just get this smug look on their face. But the truth is this: yes, they had it in their system, every system has everything, if you look far enough, BUT…they were not aware of it before you said it.

This problem, incidentally, I have given a name…‘The Inertia of Ignorance.’

Simply, people hang on to their ignorance. They protect it; they are not willing to admit it because, darn it, they think it will make them look stupid!

But holding on to your ignorance is what is stupid. If you don’t admit your were ignorant of something, then you can’t learn: your protection of your image as somebody who knows something stops you from learning something.

Do you understand?

Now, go ahead and read Monster Martial Arts. Hopefully, what you have read here has removed you from that attitude, and opened your skull to the input of new information. Because, I guarantee…the stuff you read on Monster, this Matrixing concept, has never been seen before. It is brand new material, not done by Bruce Lee, nor written down in Ninja scrolls, not anything.

Brand New, and that makes it very difficult for people who are more concerned with their image of worldliness than their desire to learn martial arts.
